My friend Ann at Fox Hollow Spaniels has used songs as her dog's registered names. I think that's just cool. A few other people I know have done it too.

Since my dogs aren't that cool... I want to find a song that describes and IS each individual dog. Problem-I haven't got a clue where to start.

I'm going to be listening to a LOT of music in the coming days/weeks/months!

Have fun! I love picking 'song names' out for the dogs.

Tess is named after the song, "Testify To Love". Oh, well her registered name is. LOL Her call name joins together the song and the episode of the TV show in which it was used.

I can't remember if I ever blogged about this, but Strata's registered name "In a Sweet Dream" is a song by the band Strata.

We are now regretting that his show name was not "Strike Anywhere", which is an awesome east coast punk band. His father is "Lightn Strikes" and he has a brother named "Lightning Strikes Twice". Strat's breeder noticed me wearing a "Strike Anywhere" shirt when we were hanging at a motel after a show and she was like "omg! That would've been the best name ever!" Ah well.

I can think of a few other song names I'd use as show names. I love music, so it seems natural (to me) to use song titles for names.
