Ashley's dad died last night. She is one of my best friends from high school. Her dad battled non-hodgkins lymphoma for probably ten years and last night his heart just gave out. It was so sudden, and such a shock.
It's never easy to lose someone you love, but when it's a parent... I just wish there wasn't so much pain.
The funeral is on Saturday. Erin and I will probably be going early. I haven't seen Ashley in months. I feel badly about that right now too.
