Friday, August 15, Bailey qualified in Rally Excellent with an 88 and Rally Advanced with a 96 to finish her RE and gain her first RAE double Q!
We have Rally and Obedience on Thursday and Friday for the TCVESSA shows. I hope we can put in good performances there too!

ACTS NADAC Day 2
Well, we actually qualified in all three runs today! That's pretty darn cool!
He had some really nice runs too! Jumpers was almost ELEVEN seconds under time! Chances was very clean and we worked together. He went where I wanted him to go, and I directed him well! Really good teamwork on that run. Tunnelers was good too. It also earned us a new title: O-TN-N!
I really couldn't be happier with how he performed.
All in all, a really good weekend... and now I'm just waiting for tomorrow.
There are videos... on a few different friend's video cameras so it'll be a while before they're posted.

Day 1 MAC NADAC Results!
Today was a good day dog show wise. We ran jumpers first thing in the morning and he had a stellar run! We really worked well as a team, and it just just a "zone" run. Fabulous feeling! He now has 6 Qs in Novice Jumpers to earn his O-NJC, only four more to go before we get to OPEN!
After Jumpers Jeremy and I went to Ash's dad's funeral. If funerals can be 'good' this one was. It was TOTALLY Brian. They played some of his favorite songs and there was standing room only. He was an amazing person and will be sorely missed.
We missed round 1 and the walk through of round 2 regular so I just went out there to wing it with Buzz in round 2. We made it through clean but WAY over time because of my BAAAAAAAAAAAD handling! He was a good boy though.
Chances was next and it was a NICE run (he just felt like adding a little loop-de-do). We QUALIFIED and that finished his NCC! Now we only need 2 more weavers Qs for his Novice Versatility.
Last run of the day was Touch N Go. I was working the Elite Chances ring and didn't get to walk that course, but it was very flowing and we made it through fairly well.--Q/5th.
Overall, it was a GREAT day at the dog show. Can't wait for tomorrow!

ACTS NADAC results...
This is definitely on the list of 'best trials' that I've been informally keeping. It wasn't the Qs, it was the small successes that are building into big successes.
Buzz
1. I was able to regain his focus after touching noses with a horse in the stall and sniffing calves. We went on to complete the touch n go course and he didn't visit the rest of the day. How did I regain his focus? Tried calling his name which elicited no response, walked up to him, downed him, took a lead out and sent him into a tunnel. We were able to finish the course nicely!
2. He was RUNNING and having fun.
3. HE WEAVED! He really did it!
4. Novice Touch N Go qualifying run to earn TG-N
5. Q in tunnelers
6. FIRST ever Q in WEAVERS! (A baby food turkey party followed that run!)
Bailey
1. Shot off like a rocket in tunnelers.
2. Really responded well to cues
3. Ran SUPER FAST! (I think this deserves to be multiplied by like a hundered)
4. QUALIFIED to finish her TN-N; her FIRST agility title!
It was a great day! They both ran SO well... SO well!
I *think* I'll move her up to Open tunnelers. It's the same course, she's shown she has the speed for it... and then I don't have to pawn off the rest of cooling out a dog while I run another. Our warm up/cool down routines are fairly long... and done to prevent injuries. I won't put away a 'hot' dog so while I warmed Bailey up and ran her a really nice friend finished cooling Buzz out for me. I much appreciated that!
